The town museum opened in 1982. The museum is housed in an old corn and schnaps mill on the Skeppsbrogatan, and has of course also several displays telling you of the history of both Sölvesborg and Listerlandet.

Beskrivning

The museum was completed in 1982. Under the cool arches, where Patron Södergren's brandy was once stored, you can follow Lister's ancient history in stands. Here are rich archaeological finds, especially from the Stone Age. The excavation finds from Sölvesborg Castle and Vårfruklostret occupy a central place in the museum's collections.
