Sölvesborg Museum is located in central Sölvesborg, close to both the harbor and the inner city.
Beskrivning
The museum is housed in a 150-year-old grain and spirits warehouse that has served as a museum since 1982.Under the vaults of the ground floor, you can experience Lister's history through numerous archaeological finds, mainly from the Stone Age. The excavation findings from Sölvesborg Castle and the Carmelite monastery occupy a central place in the collections.
Upstairs there is a kaleidoscopic exhibition about the cultural history of the city and Lister.
The museum is open during the summer months
