With its 760 meters, the bridge is a landmark for Sölvesborg and one of Europe's longest pedestrian and bicycle bridges.
Beskrivning
If you stand on Ljungavikens torg and let your gaze sweep across the water towards Sölvesborg's city centre, the new bridge will catch your eye. It stretches majestically via Kaninholmen to Havsudden.With its 760 meters, the bridge is a landmark for Sölvesborg and one of Europe's longest pedestrian and cycle path bridges. The bridge will be illuminated and colored in an effective way.
There is a widened part on the bridge where you can take a break, sit down and enjoy the birdlife and the beautiful view over the water and the city.
But the bridge is more than just a crossing and link between the city centre and nature. It is a connection between Sölvesborg and the rest of Listerlandet, which makes it possible to easily take a bicycle to some of the area's finest beaches. It is also an important part of Sölvesborg's environmental work by promoting environmentally friendly modes of transport.
