Approximately 3.3 km southeast of Sandviken, you reach the Sillnäs nature reserve, which is located in the southern part of Listerlandet. A recommended route is the Listerlandet cycle path from Sandviken. Follow the trail for approximately 2.8 km in an easterly direction to Sillnäsvägen, then turn right and continue for approximately 350 meters until you reach the border of the nature reserve. Recommended directions by car are via Torsövägen from Istaby in a southerly direction. After approximately 1.3 km, turn off at Sillnäsvägen and follow it for 1.8 km. Parking is available adjacent to the reserve.

The Sillnäs nature reserve has a varied natural environment with beech forests, wetlands, tree-bearing and open pastures. There are also coastal meadows, shrublands and coastal water areas that form the basis for the biotopic diversity within the reserve. The different natural environments give rise to an abundant fauna and flora, several of which are red-listed and endangered. The Ädellövskogen has a high natural value and is a contributing factor to the fauna and flora in the area. Sillnäs's location is an important point for nesting and resting birds. The wetlands are an important habitat for amphibians, among other things.
