In the southeast of Listerlandet lies Nogersund, a fishing village where the modern fishing industry coexists with charming small houses with elongated net pens.
Beskrivning
East of Hällevik lies Nogersund - one of the fishing villages on Lister that is most characterized by the modern fishing industry. Sweden's largest fishing port is located here, which says something about the modernizations that have been made in recent times. Despite this, they have managed to maintain the genuine atmosphere, with the harbor tavern that looks out onto the sparkling water and the fishing boats. The village has old traditions and parts of the 19th century buildings still remain. This can be seen, among other things, in the elongated net yards on the plots, where people once hung their fishing nets to dry. There is also Julla's House, a small genuine local history museum, where you can see how a fishing family once lived. Southwest of the village lies Kråkenabben with its beautiful barren nature. In the other direction, there is a hiking trail through the beech forest towards Listershuvud and Hörvik. And it is from here that the Hanö boat leaves.
