Hittaut - Orientation for the whole family

Hittaut is a popular wellness project featuring an orienteering map and app, available in many different locations across Sweden. It’s a simple and fun way to get some exercise whilst discovering new and beautiful places.

With the help of the map, you find your way to various checkpoints, which are marked in the countryside by a Hittaut post. Each checkpoint has a code that you can register digitally. Different checkpoints have varying levels of difficulty, and many are accessible and can be reached by wheelchair, pushchair, mobility scooter, walking frame or bicycle. This means Hittaut is suitable for most people.

To register checkpoints, you need a Hittaut account. If you already have a Hittaut account, you can use it to log in. Otherwise, you’ll need to create an account. Upon registration, a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox; you’ll then need to confirm your email address before you can log in. Unfortunately, the confirmation email may end up in your spam folder, so please also check your spam folder if it does not appear in your inbox.

Using the map and/or GPS, you should visit each checkpoint.
