The starting point is Järnavik, in the middle of the archipelago of Blekinge, where you receive qualitative kayaking equipment, instructions and a review of the map through Paddelkompaniet. The destination for the trip is the beautiful archipelago idyll Tärnö where you spend the nights in a glamping tent and are served delicious locally produced meals during your stay. The island is located in the outermost sea band and is the largest of the islands in the Hällaryd archipelago, about 3-4 hours of paddling from Järnavik. On the way to Tärnö, you also get to know the Järnavik archipelago, including the island Tjärö, and you pass several charming islands where it is possible to stop on the way. Tärnö has a very exciting culture and history to discover and from here you have the opportunity to further explore Blekinge Archipelago and ARK 56 via kayak and/or on foot via hiking trails on the island.

A warm welcome to a kayak trip in the archipelago of Blekinge, and through ARK 56, that has been classified as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. During a few days you get sustainable cultural and nature experiences that become a memory for life. We offer kayak paddling in a fantastic nature, in combination with glamping in a cultural environment and locally produced food.

Beskrivning

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Some paddling experience is required - in case of strong winds, an alternative solution is offered
• Bring your own thermos and water bottle
• Please notify your selection of barbecue basket (meat, fish or vegetarian - 2 occasions) to malin@tarno.eu and state if you have any food allergies
• Lunch during the kayak trip to/from Tärnö on days 1 and 3 is not included in the package. It is possible to have lunch at the Tjärö restaurant at 12.00 - 15.00 during high season.

CONTENTS
• Single, double or triple kayak including paddles, life vests, spray decks, dry bag 20 l, float, pump, map, bailer, sponge and water tank
• 2 nights’ accommodation in glamping tents including bed linen, towels and cleaning
• 2 dinners (drinks not included) in the form of a ready-made barbecue basket that you grill yourself (meat, fish or vegetarian)
• 2 breakfasts on your terrace
• 1 lunch served at Bistro Franks Kabyss on Tärnö from 23/6 when the restaurant opens - earlier bookings are offered a picnic basket at the glamping tent or as a takeaway to be enjoyed during the kayak trip

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS

DAY 1
Arrival at Paddelkompaniet at Kajak Centre Järnavik at 9.30-10 am for collection of the kayak equipment, a kayak introduction and review of the map. You start your kayak trip in the Järnavik archipelago and can spend the day exploring some of the beautiful archipelago of Blekinge from the kayak.
The idyllic island Tjärö, about 3 km from Järnavik, is well worth a visit and the whole island is a nature reserve with a rich flora and fauna. The island also offers hiking trails, a swimming area, viewpoints, restaurant, cafe etc. If you want to challenge yourself, take a swim by jumping from the 12 m high cliff Tjäröklippan on the west side of the island. You then continue to the southwest and pass the cape Allböle which can be wind-exposed. Depending on the weather and wind, it is also possible to pass on land via a ramp in a more protected position. Now the Hällaryd archipelago opens and with regard to the wind, you can navigate between the islands according to your wishes.

When you reach Tärnö, you check into your glamping tent and receive information from the staff regarding your stay. For dinner, you will be served a wonderful barbecue package (meat, fish or vegetarian) which you prepare yourselves with a fantastic view of the archipelago.

DAY 2
In the morning you get to enjoy a lovely breakfast basket on your terrace overlooking the sea. You can spend the day along one of the hiking trails on the island and look at the beautiful "Fish Cuckoo Oak" from the 14th century that previously served as a landmark for seafarers. Today's lunch is served in Bistro Frank's Kabyss, located where the archipelago boat docks, or as a takeaway.

You also have time for a kayak trip to further explore the archipelago of Hällaryd, where you will find a large number of beautiful islands such as Bockö, Östra Bokö, Harö and Fölsö.

For dinner, you will again be served a wonderful barbecue package (meat, fish or vegetarian) that you grill on your own. You eat a good meal, relax in a beautiful environment and digest the day's many experiences before you crawl into the comfortable beds of the glamping tent.

DAY 3
The day begins with a lovely breakfast basket on the terrace of the glamping tent. You check out from the accommodation and start the kayak trip back to Järnavik. There is plenty of time to continue exploring the beautiful Blekinge Archipelago and the kayak equipment can be returned when it suits you, but no later than 18.00.
