Very welcome on a kayak tour in Sweden's most beautiful archipelago, ARK 56, that has been classified as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. During a few days you get experiences that turn into lifetime memories. We offer kayak paddling in unique surroundings in combination with lodging in a cultural environment and with local food.
Food, accommodation, and kayak rent is included in the price and you only have to bring your personal belongings and the desire to explore the archipelago. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at the restaurant, or prepare a takeaway box from the breakfast buffet for lunch (coffee in your own thermos).
Beskrivning
On arrival, instructors show the kayaks and go through simple techniques for getting in and out of the kayak, paddling and rescuing techniques.The kayak rent includes life jacket, spraydeck, paddle, drybag 20L, and map.
Close by, after about 30 minutes of paddling, you find the island Tjärö with its fantastic nature. Here you have your basecamp where you sleep and eat.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the newly built restaurant located next to the sea, or prepare a take away box from the breakfast buffet for lunch (coffee in your own thermos). The food is served based on seasonal ingredients and the archipelago as a theme. For dinner the chef has chosen two dishes from the appreciated à la carte menu.
At Tjärö you stay in a double room in 16th and 17th century environment in red cottages with white trim.
In the morning, a lovely breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant, with hot dishes and freshly baked bread on the table.
