Stay at the charming guest house Pensionat Järnavik, located right by the sea, where accommodation and nature merge. Here you can allow yourself to relax and you get the opportunity to explore the archipelago by kayak and/or bike.

The package contains two activity days where you can choose kayaking or biking or a mix of both. It is also possible to add extra activity days and/or a guide at an additional cost.
You can also choose the “Bonus package” where 3 meals per day - based on local and ecological ingredients - are included.
Blekinge coastal area and archipelago has been nominated by UNESCO as one of Sweden’s 5 biosphere reserves. Taste the beautiful archipelago landscape of ARK 56 from both the sea and the mainland - a vacation based on sustainability.

Beskrivning

DAY1

Check in from 4 pm at the charming guest house Pensionat Järnavik where bed linen, towels and cleaning are included. The guest house is located right by the sea and overlooking the beautiful archipelago of Järnavik. Take time to explore the building of distinguished ancestry and the surrounding area. Here you will find footpaths of different lengths in the nature reserve, bathing places, a bird lake with a lookout point where you get the opportunity to observe a variety of bird species.

Basic package: You prepare your own dinner in one of the guest kitchens. The meals are taken in the guest dining room or in the picturesque garden overlooking the sea. A fire place is available for barbecue and for brewing coffee over open fire. The nearest place where you can buy food is at a well-assorted grocery store in Bräkne-Hoby, at about 7 km distance.

DAY 2 AND 3

Basic package: You prepare your own breakfast and a lunch package for the activity in one of the guest kitchens. After completing the activity day, you cook and enjoy the dinner.

Kayaking: You find the kayak centre of Paddelkompaniet just beside the guest house. Pickup time for the equipment is at 10.00 am and information on how the kayak works, paddling and rescue techniques is given if desired. The equipment should be returned no later than 6 pm. A guide will meet up if that service has been booked.

Included equipment: Single or double kayak, paddle, life vest, spraydeck, water can 5 L, drybag 20 L, detailed map (tour suggestions will be given).

Biking: Bike and equipment will be delivered at the guest house. It is possible to choose between different distances for the bike tour. The map will be reviewed before start. A guide will meet up if that service has been booked.

Included equipment: Bike, helmet, bike bag, reflex vest, bottle with water, repair kit, detailed map.

DAY 4

Basic package: You prepare your own breakfast in one of the guest kitchens.
Check out at 11 am.
