Beskrivning

Sternö is a big peninsula southwest of central Karlshamn and is a popular walking area with one of the best bathing places in Karlshamn. During the summer, there's an outdoors café. Warm summer evenings, you are able to grill on the barbecue areas on the rocks.

Blekinge's largest grave mound, Högarör is found on Sternö and is almost 5 meters high and was made during the early bronze age. It lies there with a magnificent view over Hanöbukten, 50 meters above the sea.

In the nature reserve there are several hiking trails of varying length and terrain. Some of the trails are accessible and pram-friendly.
