Beskrivning

Höga Rör is a Bronze Age cairn from the Early Bronze Age (1800 - 1000 BC). The cairn is located on the crest of Mörby hill, with a wide view of Listerlandet. The cairn occupies a special position in Listerlandet where earthen burial mounds are otherwise completely dominant during this period.

Several legends are associated with the cairn, among which Höga Rör is said to have been formed when a giantess dropped the stones she was going to throw at the church in Åhus. Another legend tells that the cairn is said to have housed a large treasure, guarded by a wicked dragon.
