Lörby Skog - Iron age mounds

At the northernmost farms in Lörby is an extensive area of ​​ancient burial grounds and fossil fields on the crest of a wooded beach grass. Burial facilities consist of stone circles and standing stones. The main site is called Skebbas tubes. The graves from the Iron Age (c. 500 BC - 500 AD).

Over sea wall extends a series of long, narrow, fossil fields separated by low stone strings. Field system, which represents a less common type of ancient monuments is one of its kind one of the best preserved in the country, probably constructed during the Middle Ages.
