When you visit the Västra Torsö nature reserve, you can hike in a gnarled pine forest on fossil sand dunes or experience natural forest-like beech and alder swamp forests. The natural values are high and the cultural history is long. In summer, the adjacent beach is a popular excursion destination.Västra Torsö is a small nature reserve with a rich flora and fauna, bordering the popular beach of Västra Torsöviken. The nature reserves of Sillnäs and Hjärthalla are located a few kilometers southwest and northwest of Västra Torsö.
