A genuin archipelago idyll.

Tärnö is a genuin archipelago idyll and the largest island in Karlshamn's archipelago. From the island's highest point, Drakaberget, you can see more than half of Blekinge's coast and the burrows in the mountain that the island's inhabitants in ancient times thought were marks of a dragon that lived there. Tärnö lighthouse was built on Iberget in 1910.

The island is a nature reserve and during summer time you can go by boat to Tärnö from the city center in Karlshamn and from Matvik. Dining is available on the island.

Tärnö offers sustainable overnight experiences in various forms and price ranges. Stay in a lakeside cottage, apartment or glamping tent. This beautiful archipelago idyll gives you a unique experience of a fantastic archipelago nature with sustainability in focus.

Take the opportunity to experience the surroundings around the island from a rowing boat or a fishing kayak.
