Hiking trail - Eriksbergsleden

One of the most beautiful trails in Blekinge that stretches along the coast in the Eriksberg nature reserve.

Beskrivning

This beautiful coastal trail is located near the Eriksberg Eriksberg Wildlife & Nature Park. Since the trail runs along the fence to the wildlife park, with a little luck you can also see the animals there. The trail has orange markings on posts and trees. There are lots of nice views out over the water along the coast.

"Eriksbergsleden" is an amalgamation of the former Kohageleden, which began at the entrance to Eriksberg in the northeast (N 56°11’26” E 15°00’00”) and Allböleleden, which started from Björnahemmet in the southwest (N 56°10’15” E 14°59’03”). The two trails have been linked by a pair of spectacular bridges that connect Dragsö with the mainland.

A 100-meter-long and technically advanced suspension bridge and a wooden footbridge about 185 meters long.

The walk between the starting points is quite demanding from both sides but offers fantastic views out to sea. The trail is about 12.2 kilometers long.

There are several barbecue and rest areas along the way. There are also two renovated gun emplacements at the end of the Allböleleden trail where it is possible to stay overnight for those who want to extend their stay in nature.

The trail is currently not a circular trail, you need to walk the same way back if you park your car at one of the two starting points. During the summer it is possible to take the archipelago boat from Matvik to Bruksviken jetty (see external link).

Not handicapped accessible. Many hilly and really steep sections and parts of the trail run along narrow footbridges.
