Hiking trails on the beautiful archipelago island Tjärö.
Beskrivning
There are several different hiking trails on Tjärö.The northern trail (blue marking) is 1.5 km long and offers beautiful views and surroundings and is the easiest trail to get around. Here you have a nice view of Maren, flat rocks and cozy swimming and barbecue areas.
There is also a trail on the southern part of Tjärö that is 3 km long (yellow marking) and has more hilly terrain and beautiful cliffs along the way.
The newest trail on the island (pink marking) is 1.6 km long and extends to Kalven. Here you can meet the sheep, find hidden places and beaches, walk on flat rocks among ancient remains and walk along the harbor and the small canal.
Tjärö can be reached by boat from Järnavik, Karlshamn or Matvik.
