Skärva Herrgård

Stay at a magical 200 year old mansion right next to the Baltic Sea, which today is a Seminar, Event- and Guesthouse and is surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve.

Skärva Herrgård, once Admiral Chapman’s summer residence belonging to the World Heritage Site, is located 7 km outside of Karlskrona. Our guests can wander through the wide English Park, go for a hike in the marvellous nature reserve, a bike tour on our mountain-bikes or discover the archipelago by water on our kajaks. Afterwards it is nice to relax in the sauna and take a swim from the historic bath house.

The Herrgård has in total 25 beds in 13 rooms. With two separate areas with kitchen, living rooms and shared bathrooms, it is perfect for groups that can rent the house or a part of it exclusively. Different seminar rooms offer space for meetings and conferences for 2 – 50 people.
During summer we invite our guests to join our various events like Yoga, art-exhibitions, concerts, Aikido, Tango mm and our great historic hall can be rent for different events from birthday parties to music festivals.

The rooms can be rent as double rooms or single room and all have shared bathrooms. Included in the price are bedsheets and towels. Breakfast is not included. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner can be booked upon request, please write us an email for more information.

Please note that this beautiful 200 year old mansion wants to be taken good care of and at the moment still is in renovation phase. Therefore construction work during the day can still be occuring around the house.
