In Blekinge salmonfishing is absolutely wordclass.
It is no coincidence that the over 18 kilometers long Mörrum river is classified as one of the world's best and most well-known salmon waters. The tradition of salmon - and sea trout fishing in Mörrum extends all the way back to the 13th century and the coveted fish have over the years been caught with everything from fish-fork to yarn and ring-net. Since 1941, only fly-fishing and spinning rod is allowed. Between March and September each year, Mörrum's Kronolaxfiske gather thousands of expectant anglers from the whole world.
It doesn't really matter if you are a keen and experienced fisherman or if you swing the rod for the first time. The conditions for having an awesome fishing experience are very good. The year also offers various challenging fishing, depending on the season and weather conditions - from spring's "simple" fishing with lots of savage fish, via the tougher salmon fishing in May and challenging summer fishing as the fish are more difficult to catch, to the wonderful varying autumn fishing.
