Concert in the city centre - a venue with history and potential - the old Metropol cinema.They are each one of Sweden's best singers and best jazz guitarists. Rigmor Gustafsson and Erik Söderlind hardly need any further introduction. Together as a duo they have charmed and entertained audiences many times before and now they meet again for an intimate concert in a close encounter with the audience in the tastefully renovated Metropolbiografen.
With his unique fingerwork, Erik creates space and atmosphere for Rigmor's soulful voice in the same way that Joe Pass and Ella Fitzgerald once did. The pair will offer both earrings from the American songbook and their own compositions.
The repertoire is a mix, ranging from Swedish songs to Beatles and jazz standards.
Wheelchair ramp from the street, accessible toilet in the courtyard bistro. No dedicated car park, regular city car parks are used when necessary.
