Lorpan sits alone in the playground, searching for a friend to play with. Someone who takes play just as seriously as she does. With all her energy, she searches and insists on her right to play!
Beskrivning
Lorpan Yearns is a love letter to play—the joy of finding a friend who plays by the same rules.Ingalill Ellung, an experienced puppet theatre director, reached out to Stina Wirsén with the wish to develop a play together. “It was love at first sight when I saw Stina’s images for the first time. Here were characters perfectly suited to puppet theatre, just waiting to step onto the stage. And we let them meet in a story about friendship and longing.”
Stina Wirsén is an acclaimed illustrator, author, and artist, frequently commissioned in many different contexts. She has previously written directly for the stage, including for puppetry, and emphasizes that every project is unique. “Working closely with Ingalill, as well as with puppet maker Lisa Kjellgren Almstig, and shaping the story, set design, and characters together along the way is so exciting. I’m so happy about the collaboration with Dockteatern Tittut!”
Admission: 50 SEK per person.
