Lecture: GDANSK - Known and unknown

Litorina Folk High School organizes lectures that travel around the world, and this time it’s about Gdansk!

Beskrivning

Litorina Folk High School organizes lectures in the spring with a theme, one country per evening. The lecture series "One Country per Evening" is a special course offered as a series of travel stories or a personal presentation of a home country, over fifteen evenings, by invited speakers, the so-called Litorina Globetrotters. You can choose whether to attend the entire series and pay the course fee or just attend one or more individual evenings.

"One Country per Evening" is now in its seventh term and has gradually gained great popularity. The course was created as the concept "Travel in Imagination" during the pandemic, when physical travel was highly restricted worldwide.

The goal is to "travel" to fifteen different destinations around the world, during one term, with an invited lecturer, in order to broaden participants' perspectives, understanding, and experiences of our world, and contribute to general knowledge about geography, cultures, and societies through personal and entertaining reports. As an extra treat, there is a taste experience from the destination or a nice coffee break during the intermission, which is included in the price.

Each session is a vibrant cavalcade of facts, images, adventures, tales, and anecdotes from all corners of the world. On this day, the lecture "Gdansk - Known and unknown " is held by Iwona Slojka. See the image for the list of the remaining spring lectures.
