Museum & Art Hall
Independent of the weather you can find inspiration and discover new favorites at Sölvesborg Museum, Hällevik fishing museum, the art hall, the Library, at the galleries or at the carefully restored cinema. Culture is life!
Sölvesborg Art Hall and Museum is located on Skeppsbrogatan (between Stortorget and Four Seasons Park). The museum and the art gallery are located in the city's old grain magazine. The museum displays exhibitions of archeology on Lister and about the history of the city.
Lister Härads Courthouse
Lister Härads Tingshus was designed and built by Erik Gunnar Asplund 1917-1921. The house, which is today a listed building, considered one of Sweden's premier buildings in the Nordic classicalism style. Until 2001, litigation was held here. Today, the municipality of Sölvesborg is working with support from the County Administrative Board in Blekinge to restore the cultural heritage's most valuable parts back to its origins.
