Beskrivning
Heart Beats is both the name of the group's CD from 2024 and this performance, in which the duo interprets the Beatles instrumentally in their own way. Jazz is the foundation, but they also move towards blues, folk music and classical. The performance mixes music with personal stories from their childhood in Holjekroken, Olofström – a combination of words and tones that unites education and entertainment.Pianist Niklas Bjarnehäll, trained at the Malmö Academy of Music, has released the solo album Bonita and collaborated with Georgie Fame, Rigmor Gustafsson and the Gävle Symphony Orchestra, among others.
Guitarist Patric Eghammer, also trained in Malmö, has played in the Björnson Band, released Still Beating and performed with Musik i Blekinge's ensemble Unit.
