Visit Rosenbom - the city's most famous resident and put a coin in the poor box Rosenbom hat!

The church's poor-box, known as "Rosenbom" is the first thing that greets a visitor at Amiralitetskyrkan. He is dressed in the costume worn by a sailor in the mid 1700's.

He has become world famous by the author Selma Lagerlöf's "Nils wonderful journey through Sweden" when he rescued Nils away from King Karl's XI anger.
