Archipelago tour in Karlshamn

The archipelago in Karlshamn is the country's southernmost, an archipelago that stretches from the western municipal border to Sweden's southeast corner.

The archipelago consists of approximately 500 scenic coves and islands of various sizes.

The archipelago boats depart from the city center of Karlshamn, Vägga harbour, Matvik and Järnavik. And from there you can go to the islands Tärnö, Tjärö, Joggesö, Ekö, Östra Bokö and Fölsö.

The largest island in the archipelago is Tärnö, which lies farthest out in the sea. At Tärnö it is possible to rent a cabin, apartment or glamping tent and also book various activities such as fishing kayaks or rowing boats.

Farthest east is the island Tjärö, a real archipelago idyll. Tjärö has various accommodation options such as hotel rooms, cottages and hostel. Also various activities such as kayak, canoe, paddle boards, pedal boats and a sauna boat for rent.

The archipelago boat also stops at the fortress island Kastellet, just a five-minute boat ride from the city center in the inner harbour of Karlshamn. The boat to Kastellet during low season is free of charge.

During high season, you can also go by boat to Eriksberg nature reserve.
