Restaurant Kronohäktet

A small Swedish brasserie in the middle of the world heritage at Stumholmen in Karlskrona. The chef is Filip Gamelius.

The restaurant offers several dining rooms in different sizes and therefore fits just as well for conferences as for family or a dinner on hand. The restaurant, which is housed in the old boiler room, is reached through the entrance at the back of the large gravel yard. In the newly renovated venue you will find original parts from the time of imprisonment and the environment is raw and scaled off, but at the same time warm and inviting.
The Crown Army, or Military Army, was built in 1910-11 as a cell prison of so-called philadelphian model. In 1992, the building was declared as a building monument and is part of the world heritage site Örlogsstaden Karlskrona.

At Kronhäket Restaurant and Hostel (the hostel opens in 2019) you live in the middle of the archipelago, a stone's throw from the Naval Museum and Bastion Kungshall. You are also close to the beach, nice walkways and walking distance to Karlskrona center.
Accommodation in the cells on the two top floors of the building will be possible in early 2019.

Outdoor seating in the garden during summer.
