The future of emergency services is the title of Katarina Mansnérus' lecture, which is part of Litorina's lecture series for the spring semester 2025 with free admission.
Beskrivning
The lecture lasts one hour, but 30 minutes are reserved for Q&A if there is interest. The lecture series addresses current topics, this time the highly topical modern rescue service, which is facing completely new requirements.The lecture gives us insight into the reality we live in and the threats that affect rescue and emergency services. Crises, conflicts, disasters and acts of violence put a lot of pressure on the rescue services and today rescue and emergency services have a great need for recruitment and need to hire staff with new skills.
Litorina Folk High School takes its social responsibility and in collaboration with Räddningstjänst Östra Blekinge we offer two courses starting in the fall semester 25:
- Preparatory course for modern rescue service
- General course with a focus on modern rescue service
