Bredängs Musteri & Ciderbryggeri
We are a small-scale temple with its own production of craft cider.
The production of must is certified food crafts according to Eldrimner.
Here you can mash your own apples or buy apple in a bottle.
BeskrivningApple juice is not a homogeneous product that tastes the same. Neither from manufacturer to manufacturer nor from pressing to pressing. You can think that apple juice is like a (non-alcoholic) wine, the taste depends on where the apple has grown and how it is treated in the whole process up to the bottle.
We at Bredäng's mustery and cider brewery work to make YOU better at understanding the variations in the must by judging each pressing in a professional way. Samuel (owner) is continuously training in taste assessment and together with Lena, who is a hired sommelier, and Lasse in the warehouse, we get a well-developed method of a good assessment of each pressing. You get part of our assessment via taste clocks on the packaging. We state sweetness and acidity and a small text about the taste. On our must from mixed apples, the variation is naturally very large while the pure mustard is more similar over the season.
The varieties are designed to suit the restaurant that wants to offer high-quality, non-alcoholic alternatives. Ingrid-Marie, Gloster and Cox Orange provide three very different patterns that go well with different types of food.
As a complement to the "regular" must, there is also Apple / Ginger in two varieties, both with a mild taste of ginger and with real heat without it being a shot. There, the taste circles are replaced with a "heat scale" from 1-10 where 10 is a shot.
For children who like "ordinary" apple juice, we can offer apple / carrot. A smooth and fruity must from apples and carrots. A wonderful feeling of freshly harvested carrots from your own country!
